Welcome to the official website for Broadway actress Michelle DeJean. Having recently finished a run in Northport, NY as Nancy in Oliver! at the John W. Engeman Theatre, and then finishing out a tour as Roxie in CHICAGO, Michelle has decided to retire from the theatre. Below is a note from her:
"I have had an amazing career that has spanned over 22 years. I reached goals that I had never even set for myself professionally. More importantly, I have had the support of strangers and friends alike, along the way. It was important to me to answer each email sent through my fan site. In doing so, I have made many lasting friendships and will be eternally grateful.

This all being said, my amazing webmistress and I have decided to close down this site as I am retiring from my performing career. (for now) I have decided to take some time...do some soul searching...and enjoy the life around me. Each of you who have written to me through the years have brought me so much joy...it's time for me to find the joy on my own.

Thank you to my fans, friends, and family. Thank you to Cat, my WONDERFUL webmistress who started this as a little fan site and built it up over many years. She always made me look good, and has become a very good friend.

I have loved this chapter of my life....thank you all for being such a huge part of it.
